The tornado sirens went off 2x here in the last half hour. I'm sitting outside online on my porch watching the storm roll over us. The sky was dark to the west but sunny to the east when the first siren went off. I being a retired 9-1-1 police, fire and EMS dispatcher tend to like to see what's going on with my own eyes. When I was locked in the dispatch area of the police department with only a small window (I could have gotten out of it but most of the other dispatchers probably could not have) I saw nothing that went on and had to solely rely on what the officers told me. One of them (no names will be mentioned to protect the innocent) (Ben) always saw a cloud with rotation. We always had more fun with it when he was working because he saw things that no one else ever saw. Anyway as for tonight's tornado, it never happened...
